Kitchens by Artisan was founded by craftsmen. Two master carpenters using timeless skills and materials to create quality cabinetry. Although we have grown over the years...we haven't grown too much. Dave and Rob are still directly involved in every project from design to construction to installation. Personal attention to your project is a standard feature at Artisan.
In addition to representing a number of manufacturers of "stock" cabinets, Artisan has a complete cabinet shop on the premises where we can produce handcrafted custom cabinetry. We offer a selection of quality materials with a wide selection of styles so we can design a kitchen which will meet all of your design goals, and your budgetary needs.
Our staff
Rob Cadrain - Co-owner of Artisan has over 25 years of experience in furniture and custom cabinet manufacturing. A journeyman carpenter, Rob was the lead installer for New Englands largest kitchen firm. He brings his experience of managing million dollar projects to all aspects of your kitchen installation.
Dave Ruddy - Co-owner of Artisan has over 20 years experience in the carpentry and construction field. He has worked with a broad array of materials and processes including wood, plaster, tile, stone and metal working. Dave has a background in design and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Connecticut in 1999.
Jeff Kittles - For more than 25 years Jeff Kittle has been a professional cabinetmaker and architectural woodworker and is highly skilled in all phases of cabinetmaking. For the past 12 years Jeff has been fabricating custom kitchens exclusively for the kitchen cabinet industry.
